Clear allEverything fighters ask before adding creatine to their stack.
Will creatine make me hold water weight before a fight?
Will creatine make me hold water weight before a fight?
Creatine can cause intramuscular water retention — meaning water stored in muscle, not subcutaneous water under the skin. Most fighters cycle off creatine 2-3 weeks before a weigh-in to be safe. Talk to your coach or nutritionist for your specific weight class strategy.
When should I take creatine?
When should I take creatine?
The timing of creatine is less critical than consistency. Taking it daily — either pre or post-training — is what matters. Many fighters take it alongside their Pre-Workout for convenience. The most important thing is taking it every day to maintain muscle saturation.
Do I need to do a loading phase?
Do I need to do a loading phase?
Loading (20g/day for 5-7 days) can saturate your muscles faster, but it's not required. Taking 5g daily for 3-4 weeks achieves the same saturation level. We recommend the standard 5g daily approach — it's easier on your stomach and equally effective.
Can I mix creatine with the Pre-Workout?
Can I mix creatine with the Pre-Workout?
Yes — and many of our athletes do exactly this. Both products are designed to work together. The flavors are matched (Tropical Fusion pairs well with our Mango Creatine) and there are no ingredients that interact negatively.
Is this creatine monohydrate or another form?
Is this creatine monohydrate or another form?
Pure creatine monohydrate — the most studied and proven form. We don't use creatine HCL, Kre-Alkalyn, or any other "upgraded" form that charges more without the research to back it up. Monohydrate at 5g daily is the gold standard, full stop.
